It's a gravy day for meals in my world today. My co-worker Deb is buying me lunch as a thank you for something I did for her last week. And tonight is Chicken Pot Pie (PA Dutch style!) at MIL's. It's not great pot pie, but it's good enough. It's kind of funny. Stef won't eat MIL's pot pie but she will gobble ours right up.
Stef has been expressing her anger lately by throwing whatever she gets her hands on or knocking everything off a table with a swipe of her arm. She's learning that this earns an automatic time out. I'm trying to teach her to hit a pillow when she's angry instead of throwing, but haven't had much luck so far. Consistency is the key! MIL is taking her to story time at Barnes & Noble this morning. Gymboree play class starts this weekend. I can hardly wait to see her enjoying that!

mmmmmm potpie!!!! Rebecca likes to throw, hit, pinch. I calmly tell her no. Need a new strategy.
Maybe instead of going to Dutch Wonderland, we should take the girls to Anger Management Class, but I guess we can't stand "The Fonz" up.
I'm in for the Anger Management classes, Jenna just points her finger and tells me off, the hitting not so much but has done this also. Oh woe is us, gotta love terrible two's :)
We're into the smack mommy when we're pissed stage also.
Potpie sounds awesome! I make huge ones so they last for days and sometimes make an extra to freeze, mmmmmmmmmmmm.
I could really go for a Boston Market one right now, too bad we don't have one within an hours drive of here.
Well, Terri, looks like we have to have the whole "pot pie" discussion with Meredith. I haven't had pot pie in over a year. Rods grandma "Mim" used to make the best. I haven't attempted her recipe, cause I would just mess up the noodles. Her homemande noodles were the best!
Yup terrible 2's are here as well. Ian likes to hit his sister or if something isn't doing what he wants his phrase of choice is "you stupid thing" and he tosses it across the room.
